Diversity, Inclusion and Working with Dignity

At Harmony we believe in supporting you to get the very best from your colleagues and in working with organisations, teams or individuals to ensure individuals feel valued, respected, encouraged, developed and recognised as being a valuable member of the organisation.

At Harmony we ask you the questions you need to be asked and then support you with the strategies, offer you the solutions and work with you to create Harmony in your oganisation or team.

 Are you,

  • Concerned about how to bring diversity alive in your organisation?
  • Wishing to see employees at every level engaged in the diversity message?
  • Disappointed that employees don’t buy-in more to the Company values?
  • Expending time and effort to reduce unacceptable behaviour?
  • Anticipating a diversity related employment tribunal claim?
If the answer is yes to some of these, and there was a magic wand that granted your (much longer?) wish list, what behaviour would you hope to see in the workplace as a result?
  • Employees more often recognising and valuing each others differences?
  • More courtesy and consideration?
  • Employees taking responsibility for their own behaviour?
  • Employees sensitively challenging inappropriate behaviour, before they even think about an informal grievance?
  • Line managers taking a pro-active, coaching approach to diversity issues?
  • More personal resilience and self motivation?
And what would you expect to achieve as the outcomes?  Less conflict, stress and absence? Better manager/staff relationships? Improved team working?  Less exposure to grievances and employment litigation? More?

Unfortunately I don’t have a magic wand, but I do have an approach which engages people in the diversity discussion, is stimulating and challenging and which post-evaluation feedback indicates results in more positive behaviour.

If you are interested in a behavioural approach which provides the answer to the question, ‘How do you walk the diversity talk?’, which would focus on achieving the above outcomes, please email me at enid@harmonytraining.com or call me on 01908 233526 for further details.  No cost, therfore no risk!
