James Lynch MInstLM
Head of Learning and Development
A co-founder of the Harmony Partnership (UK) Ltd, Jim has a natural gravitas and operates comfortably at high levels of commerce. This presence is perhaps borne from high positions within the Police Service, culminating in the position of Staff Officer to the Chief Constable.
Like Rupert, Jim also rose through the ranks of the service holding many posts including that of Training Manager where he was able to hone many of his learning and development skills. He was also active in the development of policy and strategy within the Police Service on a number of key operational issues. A Magistrate on the Milton Keynes Bench and a Member of the Institute of Leadership & Management all add to Jim’s natural skill and inherent ability to mix and communicate effectively across disciplines. He has a natural ability for designing learning initiatives that incorporate the highest of standards, principles, values and ethics.
Jim has engaged business with high level government departments such as the Home Office, Ministry of Justice and many individual county Police and Fire Services. He has also engaged the confidence of many large organisations such as British Gas, Somerfield Stores and the YMCA to name but a few. Articulate and confident, Jim has a presence and business acumen that instils trust at all levels in the professional integrity and capability of the Harmony Partnership. Jim is our key client negotiator and would drive the requirements gathering, training needs analysis and subsequent solution design to meet client specifications.
