Matt possesses a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, is a Home Office qualified training consultant, a qualified coach and a Master practitioner in NLP – Neuro Linguistic Programming. He is a learning development consultant with many years experience particularly in the field of equality and diversity. Matt has a highly active and participative style in his commitment to developing others. His communication and leadership skills have been utilised fully in the management of the Raleigh International overseas project enabling young adults from diverse backgrounds to develop their communication and leadership skills.
Matt spent a number of years working in the leisure industry and with adults with special needs before a career in the Police Service. His experience and skill ensure he is regularly engaged by Harmony to deliver high quality services to our customers. Matt is particularly skilled in raising awareness to the value of Diversity and difference in the workplace. Although no longer a Police Officer, Matt is one of the few carefully selected trainers to deliver the Positive Action and Leadership Programme to ethnic minority staff within the Police Service, countrywide. The training has been designed to positively impact into the recruitment, retention and progression of minority ethnic staff within the service.
